Anger Management Awareness Week
Posted by workplaceanger
The State of Georgia has declared the week of September 21-25 as Anger Management Awareness Week! Representative Tyrone Brooks sponsored the Resolution (H.R. 374) which was adopted by the House of Representatives in February 2009.
According to the resolution “The purpose of recognizing Anger Management Awareness Week is to increase the understanding of the underlying causes of anger and providing people with effective tools and techniques for reducing their own anger and that of those around them.”
AidevO People Consulting is excited about the attention to this cause from the State of Georgia. Just this month alone, we have seen multiple high profile persons exhibit hostile and aggressive behavior, which, if we were honest we even exhibit or see in our own lives. We are most certainly dedicated to recognizing Anger Management Awareness Week as it is a part of our mission to assist those who are in need of solutions to handling their anger more effectively.
